A word about the owners
Nearly two decades ago, Dr. Seree and his wife Somprasong started the resort. At the very start of this enterprise, they wanted the resort to be an authentic, friendly and laid-back experience. Dr. Seree takes a lot of delight in chatting with his guests and has built up knowledge in many languages through it (on top of English, he has skills in German and speaks a bit of French !)
Somprasong used to be the resort manager and the cook in the resort’s restaurant. Today, as the resort has scaled back to only serving breakfast, she is still in charge of the kitchen every morning.
The business is still family-run and both Dr. Seree and Somprasong still live at the resort.
